초음파 사진

It’s such a magical moment that never ceases to be enchanting, when you could actually hear your baby’s heartbeats and see her move. It being low-res makes it even more mysterious and beautiful. Each time we visited the doctor for routine checkups, we would come back home with big smiles, just staring at the sonogram images.

아기의 심장 소리를 듣고, 꼬물꼬물 움직이는 아기 팔다리를 보는 일은 매번 겪을 때마다 신기했습니다. 뿌옇게 흐릿한 이미지라서 도리어 더 신비롭고 아름답게 느껴졌던 것도 같구요. 정기적으로 검진을 받으러 갈 때마다 작은 초음파사진을 한 장씩 받아와서는 한참을 싱글벙글 들여다 보곤 했답니다.
